Emotional Support

is a network of cancer survivors and caregivers trained to provide free one-on-one emotional and psychosocial support to persons recently diagnosed with cancer, and their loved ones. A wide array of criteria may be considered in matching clients and volunteers, such as type of cancer, treatment, age, and gender. One-on-one support is mainly offered via telephone, though other points-of-contact may be arranged. Volunteer support is available in several languages, including Spanish, French, and German.
